Face Mask FAQs
What’s The Difference Between N95 and KN95 Masks?
In short, N95 masks are the US standards for respirator masks; KN95 masks are the Chinese standards for masks. These are the requirements that the US National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health requires manufacturers to meet in order to label their masks as N95s. Despite the long list of differences, the two masks are equivalent or nearly equivalent on the features that most people care about.
How Long Can I Weae The Mask Before Needing To Change The Filter?
Filters should be disposed of after daily use and the mask should be washed daily.
Why Should I Wear A Face Mask And What Does The Filter Do?
Although a face mask helps to slow the spread of viruses, health care professionals advocate for the use of a filter in face masks in order to help safe breathing and to ensure that harmful particles are removed.
Where Are The Face Masks Made And What Are They Made Out Of?
Our face masks are made start to finish right here in China. All of our face masks are made from 100% cotton and feature multi-layers of fabric, which is ideal for protection.
Incremental Rotary Encoder
What is an encoder?
An encoder is a sensor that translates either rotary or linear mechanical motion into electrical signals, so that a control system can determine the speed, acceleration and/or position of a mechanical system.
What are the minimum and maximum resolutions available ?
Each incremental cycle can be further resolved by 2 or 4 times using Quadrature Detection techniques. For example, a 1000 CPR rotary encoder can resolve either 2000 or 4000 positions or pulses per revolution (PPR).
Will the encoders work in a vacuum?
Our encoders have not been tested in a vacuum. We believe the encoders will perform just fine in this environment. Regardless, this should be verified with your own tests.
I am trying to drive a fairly long length of cable. What kind of additional circuitry should I consider?
A long cable distance typically requires a differential line driver and differential line receiver to reliably transmit digital signals. Most our encoders have an optional differential output circuit option (line driver) which can be selected during part number configuration.
